Brussels and its hidden treasures will be revealed.
As the Belgian and European capital, Brussels has in 50 years become a melting pot of cultures and communities, which gives it its international character. Lovers of Brussels but also newcomers can discover Brussels' history, its different communities, and the cultural heritage, which the capital has amassed over centuries.

Louis Lohle-Tart, ethnologist. Brussels as a meeting point of the communities; the demographic development of Brussels; the contribution of the different communities and the waves of immigration.
Christian Ronsmans, a Brussels guide who specializes in esoteric, alchemic and masonic elements of the city, will talk about symbols inscribed in the history and architecture of the Belgian capital.
Sonja De Smedt is a polyvalent and multicultural guide. She will discuss the influence of the communities on architecture around Brussels.
Meeting - 25 May at 7:00pm - "When Europe meets Brussels"
Meet your new Brussels' neighbours! A "speed-dating" type evening in which expatriates and Bruxellois have 7 minutes to exchange and share views and get to know each other.
Around 60 participants (30 Bruxellois and 30 Europeans) will, in 7 minutes, exchange information on their lives in Brussels, their culture, their reasons for living in Brussels, but also their favourite spots and activities in the capital.
The event aims to bring Belgians and Europeans together.
cafebabel.com is the first European news magazine in 6 languages. The publication aims to open a European window on the city and enables young people to discuss openly with figures who work in the heart of Europe. A partner of the project HDYD, Cafe Babel Bruxelles wants to bring the Europeans living in Brussels close to the local realities of the city.
